Fashion icon and media mogul Tyra Banks is about to launch another new project — a TV series based on her youth, tentatively called Fivehead.

The title is derived from schoolyard taunts a young Banks received because of her pronounced forehead.

The show will explore the “long journey from awkward teen to one of the world’s most recognizable supermodels.”

The Everybody Hates Chris-type show has been picked up by ABC and will be co-produced by Banks’ America’s Next Top Model partner Kenya Barris.

At this stage, it’s unknown whether Banks will play a role in front of the camera on the series.

Tyga is being sued over unpaid rent on his mansion located in Malibu, Calif. The Young Money star is being sued by his landlord for failure to cough up the bread for the luxurious home.

Gholamreza Rezai filed the suit against Tyga and his music company, claiming that he signed an agreement promising to pay the $16,000 a month on the house, but stopped paying as of last month.

As it turns out, Rezai shouldn’t be totally surprised that Tyga stopped taking care of the rent. In September, he expressed security concerns, because fans kept showing up to the house. Upon asking to be let out of the lease, his request was denied, and as a result, he decided not to cover the rent for September.

Rezai ordered him to leave by the end of the month, but the 22-year-old is not only still staying at the house, but stopped making rental payments all together.

Bow Wow, the rapper formerly known as Lil’ Bow Wow, is dealing with one more financial problem.

SunTrust Bank, based out of Georgia, is suing Bow Wow for $25,00, for the loss they incurred after the performer failed to repay a business loan.

Bow Wow allegedly borrowed a little over $300,000, with the agreement that he would pay back $4,730 over the course of 84 months.

When the rapper started falling behind in payments, the bank repossessed his Lamborghini Murcielago. They were able to sell it for $161,000.

SunTrust will not stop there; they are adding $25,000 to Bow Wow’s bill for what they called repossession costs.

Spike Lee’s highly-anticipated documentary about the making of Michael Jackson’s classic Bad album will be making a brief stop in theaters in select cities this fall.

Oon October 19th, the well-reviewed film will be on the big screen for a one-week limited engagement at theaters in New York and Los Angeles.

For King of Pop fans who aren’t lucky enough to live in one of those major cities, the movie will debut on ABC this Thanksgiving.

NEW YORK  — Oscar winner Octavia Spencer is looking to make some magic in the book world.

The actress best known for “The Help” has a deal with Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers for a pair of detective novels for middle school students.

Simon & Schuster announced Thursday that the first book, “Randi Rhodes, Ninja Detective: The Case of the Time-Capsule Bandit,” will come out next fall. Spencer said in a statement that she had been inspired by such mystery series as Nancy Drew and Encyclopedia Brown and hoped to give kids the same “sense of magic.”

Spencer, 42, has also appeared in such films as “Flypaper” and the upcoming “Smashed.”

Compton rapper The Game is jumping the broom, so of course reality show cameras will be nearby. VH1 has announced that Marrying The Game, starring the rapper, born Jayceon Taylor  and his fiancé Tiffney Cambridge will premieres in mid-November.

Cambridge is a “straight-laced” 5th grade history teacher, which will surely make her pending matrimony to the volatile rapper entertaining television. The couple has two children together King Justice, 5, and Cali Dream, 2) and were together for eight years before the “Hate It Or Love It” rapper proposed.

Marrying The Game’s first episode airs November 19 at 9:30PM EST.

Beyonce won’t be following in the footsteps of Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland after all.

The singer, actress and mom, 31, has pulled out of a much-anticipated remake of A Star Is Born directed by Clint Eastwood,.

“I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood,” the “I Was Here” singer said. “For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together.”

To be directed by Eastwood, the film will be the fourth “A Star Is Born,” about a singing female superstar who struggles to stand by her man, a fading, alcoholic actor. Janet Gaynor starred in the 1937 original, with Garland and James Mason reprising it in 1954, and Streisand and Kris Kristofferson headlining a 1976 version.

Although names like Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale and Johnny Depp have been mentioned, a male lead has yet to be cast in the film, which was first delayed by Beyonce’s 2011-2012 pregnancy with daughter Blue Ivy.

Variety reports that Grammy-winning jazz singer Esperanza Spalding could possibly be cast as the leading woman.

“Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have been together long enough where they should no longer be considered a “fling” and are now looking to shack up together.

The couple has Miami on their radar as where they plan on buying a crib.

Sources connected to the couple tell us … K&K have been talking about getting their own place for a couple of months … and believe Miami is the perfect location because they both love the city.

Plus, Kim will be in town for the next couple of months to shoot a reality show with Kourtney.

Wu-Tang Clan leader the RZA is working on two separate biopics about his cousin and bandmate, the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. One, Dirty White Boy, will focus on Dirty’s manager during the rapper’s final two years.

The other, with the working title Dirt: One Word Could Change The World, will involve ODB’s family. “His mother is involved with Dirty White Boy. I’m involved with both, anything about his life, I want to help out with any capacity. His mother told me I should come in and help,” said RZA.
