LL Cool J has just gone where few rappers have. The “NCIS: Los Angeles” star and host of the Grammy Awards appears on country singer Brad Paisley’s “Accidental Racist.”

The song features Paisley and LL Cool J approaching racism from different perspectives, Paisley from a white man who is proud of his Southern heritage and LL Cool J from a Black man who wants to be judged for the content of his character, not his appearance.

“Accidental Racist” appears on Paisley’s Wheelhouse album, which is available Tuesday, April 9.

Season one of BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood ended last week and taping for the following season has begun – with a few surprises in store.

“Season 2, I’m giving you a lot to look forward to,” the show’s co-creator comedian Kevin Hart reveals. Adding to the anticipation are reports that comedian Chris Rock will be joining the all-star team.

The funny-man will be replacing singer Robin Thicke on the upcoming season. Rock admitted that he is a fan of the show’s cast, which included Hollywood men Hart, Boris Kodjoe, J.B. Smoove, Duane Martin, Robin Thicke and Nick Cannon acting as dramatized versions of themselves.

“We see each other in passing all the time but it’s rare that you get to work with each other and have fun,” Rock says of the other men. The semi-scripted show racked up rave reviews during its first season and the parody proved it was a hit once the network signed it on for a second season.

Hart says Thicke won’t be returning due to conflicts with his schedule, but the Laugh At My Pain comedian believes Rock will be a great addition to the team.

LAS VEGAS — A judge in Las Vegas is expected to hear evidence in a felony case alleging entertainer Flavor Flav attacked his longtime girlfriend and her teenage son last October. The 54-year-old former rap and reality TV star is due Wednesday before a Las Vegas judge who agreed twice before to postpone his hearing.

The entertainer’s legal name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr. He’s accused of pushing his girlfriend of eight years to the floor Oct. 17 and wielding two knives while allegedly chasing and threatening the woman’s 17-year-old son. He could face prison time on assault and child endangerment charges.

A-List actress and philanthropist, Halle Berry, 46, is pregnant with her second child.

This will be her first child with fiancé, Olivier Martinez (pictured), 47, whom she became engaged to in January, 2012. Berry’s first child, daughter, Nahla, is with model Gabriel Aubrey.

After serving a 27-month prison stint for tax evasion, actor Wesley Snipes is no longer behind bars. The “Blade” trilogy star was reportedly released on April 2, then transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office, which will oversee his home confinement for the remainder of his sentence.

The 50-year-old actor was convicted of three misdemeanor counts back in 2008 for failing to file tax returns. He lost an appeal for a retrial in 2010 which resulted in his being sentenced to 3 years at a Pennsylvania minimum security correctional institution.

Throughout his tax troubles, the married father of five had maintained his innocence, insisting that he was misled by his tax advisers.

In a new online ad heralding Tyler Perry’s move to the OWN cable network at the end of May, talk show host Oprah Winfrey resurrects her most iconic acting role to date.

In remarkably uncanny make-up and costume, Winfrey reprises her Oscar-nominated performance as Sofia from the 1985 drama The Color Purple.

Her co-star in this sure-to-go-viral clip is none other than Perry himself, in full Madea drag.

Perry is planning to debut a new series on OWN starting May 28th, following a long, successful stint on TBS.

The couple was mobbed by dozens of fans at the renowned restaurant La Guarida, and police had to step in to keep the crowds at bay.

Florida Reps Call For Investigation Into Jay-Z, Beyonce Anniversary Trip To Cuba

Conservative representatives from Florida are calling for an investigation into Jay-Z and Beyonce’s unexpected trip to Cuba.

The couple was in the country to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary last week; but with the strict restrictions on U.S. travel to Cuba, Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Diaz-Balart  wrote a letter to Adam Szubin, director of the United States’ Office of Foreign Assets Control, to attain information on the type of license the power couple was granted to enter the country.

Though the U.S. has prohibited its citizens from merely touring Cuba, academic, religious or journalistic licenses are allowed.

ATLANTA  — Thandie Newton doesn’t shy away from the idea that she might be a role model.

As she takes on a leading television role, she hopes to empower women like the stars who have come before her — Kerry Washington, Regina King and Anika Noni Rose among them.

“They have empowered many,” said Newton, a racially mixed actress who is of British and Zimbabwean decent. “Empowerment anywhere leads to empowerment everywhere. The world is changing at a pace where it needs to be. That’s how I feel, and I’m proud to be a part of this movement.”

The 40-year-old actress will star in the dramatic series, “Rogue,” which premieres Wednesday night on DirecTV’s in-house channel Audience Network. It’ll be DirecTV’s first venture into original programming, and the third series to air on Audience along with “Friday Night Lights” and “Damages.”

NEW YORK  — Robinson Cano is switching agents from Scott Boras to a new company formed by musician Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and CAA Sports.

Cano will be represented in baseball matters by CAA Sports’ Brodie Van Wagenen. The New York Yankees second baseman is making $15 million this season and can become a free agent at the end of the World Series.

While the Yankees usually wait for contracts to expire before negotiating new agreements with players, they have said they hope to reach a deal with the 30-year-old Cano while he remains under their control.

The new company, Roc Nation Sports, is led by Shawn Carter, better known as Jay-Z, and Juan Perez, who will be company president.
