NEW YORK — Beyonce has settled a lawsuit that said she didn’t play fair in a deal for a video game structured around her.

Court records show the case was closed Friday after the Grammy Award-winning singer and Gate Five LLC agreed to drop it.

A lawyer for Gate Five says the terms are confidential.

Gate Five said Beyonce made a lucrative deal for a game called “Starpower: Beyonce,” then demanded a new agreement and abandoned the project. The company says it lost its nearly $7 million investment and 70 people lost their jobs.

NEW YORK  — Dave Chappelle is making his most substantial return to stand-up comedy with a one-month tour for Funny Or Die.

The comedian will headline the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival, which kicks off Aug. 23 in Austin, Texas. The 13-date, two-stage tour concludes Sept. 22 in Phoenix.

The 39-year-old Chappelle has occasionally performed impromptu sets in comedy clubs. But he has largely avoided comedy and public life since abruptly leaving his hit Comedy Central series, “Chappelle’s Show,” in 2005.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wasn’t always a pillar of the community.

The actor posted a photo of himself talking to a group of inmates at a prison today, and it appears that Johnson has taken his hard-earned experiences as a teenager and put them to good use by addressing men who find themselves on the wrong side of the law.

He captioned the pic, “I was arrested multiple x’s as a teen (fighting/stupid sh-t) Said if I can make it, so can you,” he said. “Stay strong #LockUp.”

Back in 2010, Johnson revealed that he had been arrested eight or nine times in his teen years.

“I got in trouble a lot when I was younger. By the time I was 16, I had been arrested eight or nine times for a variety of things, terrible things that I shouldn’t have been doing.”

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian welcomed a baby girl on Saturday (June 15).

Source close to KK say it was a natural child birth. She started having contractions Friday night and went into full labor early Saturday AM.

The baby and Kim are both in good health. We’re told Kim delivered the baby at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center 5 weeks early.

Kanye West was there for the entire thing — in the delivery room by Kim’s side. We’re told Kanye cancelled his appearance at his own record release party last night when Kim told him she was feeling “a little off.”

It is the first child for Kim and Kanye.

Justin Timberlake is bringing brought Myspace back!

On Tuesday, the “Mirrors” singer, who also happens to be an investor in the social networking site, relaunched the new Myspace at El Ray Theater in L.A. Robin Thicke, Pharrell, Ashley Tisdale and a slew of other celebs also turned out for the comeback bash.

The redesigned version of the site, along with a free mobile app, offers free streaming of radio stations featuring countless artists, including J.T., of course. The new music-centered Myspace caters to creative types by allowing users to connect and share based on their artist and song preferences.

WASHINGTON  — Oprah Winfrey is giving $12 million to a museum being built on Washington’s National Mall that will document African-American life.

The National Museum of African American History and Culture announced the gift Tuesday and said the museum’s 350-seat theater will be named after Winfrey. Winfrey previously gave the museum $1 million, and the museum says her $13 million total contribution is the museum’s largest to date.

President Barack Obama helped break ground on the $500 million museum in early 2012. When it’s finished, the museum will be the 19th Smithsonian museum and will house artifacts including Harriet Tubman’s shawl, Emmett Till’s casket and a Jim Crow-era segregated railroad car.

The U.S. government is providing half of the funding for the museum, which is expected to open in late 2015.

Robin Thicke’s new single, “Blurred Lines,” featuring T.I. and Pharrell topped the Billboard Hot 100 today.

This is the first time Thicke has hit No. 1 on the charts.  The Pharrell produced track is the first to top Digital, Airplay and Streaming Gainer charts simultaneously. ”Blurred Lines” is also Thicke’s first single to pass 1  million sold downloads.

The No. 1 hit is T.I.’s fourth chart topper and Pharrell’s third.

“Blurred Lines” took the top spot from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Can’t Hold Us,” featuring Ray Dalton, who held the spot for five weeks.

The song has gained additional notoriety for its controversial, NSFW music video and its prominence in Radio Shack’s Beats Pill commercials.

Bria Murphy, Eddie Murphy’s daughter, made some startling revelations to Good Morning America about the competitive world of modelling.

The 23-year-old beauty, who has modeled for Dark & Lovely, told GMA that she wants to make it big in modelling and hopes to land a contract someday with Victoria’s Secret.

“As soon as I was born, I’ve been wanting to do this,” Murphy told GMA. But she had to overcome her naturally shy personality to pursue her dream.

“If you look at the old pictures, I’m in the back of everybody,” the budding catwalker elaborated. ”As I got older, I was like, ‘Bria you can’t want to model, and not want to be out there and be the center of attention.’”

Don’t try and come between Waka Flocka Flame and his fans. A South Florida woman is such a big fan of Gucci Mane’s former homie, that she had to go to his concert –even if her marriage was on the line.

Dianne D. was tweeting (stalking) Waka online, and once she learned of a concert coming to her area the next move was a no brainer.  “There was no way I could have missed that concert, I had to go,” she said in a phone interview Tuesday, June 11morning. “It was a defining moment in our marriage. I had been giving more than I was taking and this was one thing I did not want to compromise on. I just wanted to go to a rap concert.”

Powered by a retweet from Waka that she says “changed” her life, Dianne chose the 26-year-old rapper over her husband because the relationship was crap. She even wrote about it on her blog:
