LOS ANGELES — Rapper 50 Cent denies allegations he attacked his ex-girlfriend and trashed her condo.

The “In da Club” singer’s lawyer says there’s no warrant outstanding on the domestic violence and vandalism charges against 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson. If convicted, he faces up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines.

The woman told police that during a June 23 argument, Jackson began destroying property at her condo before she locked herself into a bedroom. Snoop Dogg And T.I. Rally To End Gun Violence On ‘No Guns Allowed’ Panel

Snoop Dogg And T.I. Rally To End Gun Violence On ‘No Guns Allowed’ Panel

Snoop Dogg and T.I. joined Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler and others on the “No Guns Allowed” panel last Saturday to discuss ways of ending gun warfare for the 2013 BET Experience.

The panelists expressed personal opinions for how gun violence has escalated in urban communities, recalling their own accounts and the experiences of those close to them to a packed audience at L.A. Live. Snoop says, “We’re brainwashed,” he points out. “Not knowing the results and the consequences of gun violence, we’re always quick to pick [the gun] up, but when we do what we do with it, then we get remorseful and sad. We don’t think. The train of thought is never put into effect until after the fact.”

T.I. talked about his time spent in jail and the difficulty in separating himself from the source of his problems. Later, reformed gangbangers-turned-homeowners from Watts came out and testified to the ability for rectification. “We just want to change the conversation.”

Official: Kris Kross’ Chris Kelly Died Of Drug Overdose

ATLANTA — Chris Kelly of the ’90s rap duo Kriss Kross died of a drug overdose, a medical office investigator said Monday.

A toxicology screening revealed that Kelly, 34, had a mixture of drugs in his system when he was pronounced dead on May 1, said Betty Honey of the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office in Atlanta. Paramedics found Kelly unresponsive on a living room couch at his Atlanta home and tried to resuscitate him. Kelly, known as “Mac Daddy,” was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Honey said she did not know which specific drugs Kelly had used before his death. However, a police report from the night of Kelly’s death said his mother told investigators her son used cocaine and heroin the night before he died and had a history of drug abuse.

President Obama Inspires Jamie Foxx’s Presidential Role In ‘White House Down’

President Obama Inspires Jamie Foxx’s Presidential Role In ‘White House Down’

Director Roland Emmerich brings new life to summer blockbusters with the action-comedy White House Down.

The Columbia Pictures film is reminiscent of big 90’s smashes like Air Force One, The Rock, and one of Emmerich’s earlier films Independence Day.

Similar to Morgan Freeman in 1998’s Deep Impact, Jamie Foxx plays the role of a Black president. The film takes place over the course of one eventful day. John Cale (Channing Tatam) and his daughter Emily (Joey King) find themselves in the middle of a paramilitary attack on the U. S. Cale and is forced to spring into action, attempting to save his daughter, rescue President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx) and ultimately save the world.

While doing an impersonation of President Barack Obama on the red carpet, Foxx said he did draw inspiration for his role as president from our current commander-in-chief.
