‘Reasonable Doubt’ Returns For Season 2 With Domestic Violence Storyline

“Reasonable Doubt” is returning for a second season, and the legal series is tackling a very serious

LOS ANGELES — The legal series, “Reasonable Doubt,” is returning for a second season.

Besides the drama and the romance fans have come to love, this season also tackles a very serious subject matter: domestic violence.

Season two finds L.A. defense attorney Jax Stewart, played by Emayatzy Corinealdi, trying to help one of her best friends, who admits to killing her abusive husband. The show’s leading lady says if you watch, pay close attention.

“You can’t miss a moment,” said Corinealdi. “All the details count, so you have to, you know, really be invested and be tuned to the whole story as it’s unfolding, because that’s what makes the story great,” she said. “You really can’t miss anything.”

Court case aside, there’s plenty of relationship drama here, too, between the two leads.

Irv Gotti gives fans an update on his health.

According to TMZ, a representative for Irv Gotti confirmed that he suffered a stroke six months ago.

Irv’s team shut down Wack 100’s claims that the producer is currently using a “walker” to walk, and in a rehab facility.

“Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life” confirms the rep.

Following the statement, Gotti put out a response of his own. “I’m getting older. That’s all,” he says. “Only thing worse than getting old is not getting old.”

He goes on to say, “life is good,” as he has been spending family time with his sons, #Sonny and #JJ, and his two dogs. He also shares that his children didn’t like Wack 100’s claims. “They love their dad so much,” he said.

Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar

Snoop Dogg has saluted Kendrick Lamar for helping bring peace between Los Angeles’ various gangs during his beef with Drake.

Referencing Vince Staples‘ comments that L.A. gangs have long had a sense of unity but it was only now being publicized, Snoop told Complex: “What Vince is saying is that a lot of neighborhoods have been uniting for a long time behind closed doors, but what Kendrick did was, he united the whole city, based off him being a king.

“Taking this violent situation, which is a rap beef, and creating peace and giving the homies an opportunity to come on stage, to engage in his video, to be a part of his movement and to also move like he moves.”
