Businessman extraordinaire Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has taken to the Internet to promote his latest venture, Street King energy shots. In a web video currently going viral (amassing over 80,000 views in less than four days), 50 chooses a somewhat unlikely celebrity to star — Mike Tyson.

In the nearly 2 minute video, viewers see a The Hangover-esque plot unfold, in which 50 and boxer Floyd Mayweather are recapped on a forgotten night of wild partying from a very hyper Mike Tyson, who was secretly, um, drugged on the energy shot.

Though the plot certainly isn’t original, the video’s gone viral for a clear reason — Tyson steals the show as a hilarious leading man.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially announced that tailback Earnest Graham has been placed on injured reserve, ending his 2011 season.

Graham, viewed by his teammates as a leader, played in all seven games this season and started in the last two. He injured his knee in the first quarter of the game against the Chicago Bears.

Graham recorded 37 rushes for 206 yards and also had 26 receptions for 163 yards.

With starter LeGarrett Blount still on the mend with a knee injury, the Bucs are left with Kregg Lumpkin as their only healthy tailback.

Rumors have surfaced that Tiki Barber was being considered, but those rumors were not confirmed.

The Bucs also announced they waived long snapper Christian Yount. Yount signed with the Bucs July 27th and played in the first seven games this season.

The Bucs hope their bye week will give several players a chance to heal and be ready for their trip to New Orleans to face the Saints.

When Al Davis hired Art Shell as the head coach of the Los Angeles Raiders in 1989, Clarence Shelmon was a 37-year-old running backs coach at the University of Southern California.

Shell became the first African-American head coach in the modern NFL. For Shelmon, now the offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers, Shell’s hiring opened up possibilities he had dreamed of but never seriously imagined while growing up in Bossier City, La., in the 1950s.

For many aspiring African-American coaches, becoming a head coach in the NFL seemed an insurmountable mountain.

“When you’re young, you think anything is possible, but you also look at what history had unfolded before,” Shelmon said in a phone interview last week. “Back then, there were not a lot of men of color in coordinators’ positions and head coaches, so while you knew it was a possibility, you didn’t see anyone in those positions. In the back of your mind, you’re wondering if you’ll ever have an opportunity.”

GREEN BAY, Wis.  – Green Bay Packers rookie running back Alex Green is out for the season after injuring his knee during Sunday’s victory at Minnesota.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy calls Green’s injury “very unfortunate,” saying his play had been improving and the team expected him to make an impact this season. Green will have surgery, although no timeline has been established.

Green appeared to sustain the injury on a first-quarter kickoff against the Vikings.

DALLAS – Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Vince Young is being sued by a Dallas strip club manager he allegedly punched in the face last year.

Creiton Kinchen claims in a lawsuit filed in a Dallas court Tuesday that the 28-year-old Houston native and former University of Texas star hit him “suddenly and without provocation’’ at the club.

Kinchen, a manager at Club Onyx in Dallas, says he refused to convert $8,000 off Young’s credit card into single dollar bills for tip money.

Kinchen says Young was drunk at the time of the June 12, 2010, scuffle. Young was cited for misdemeanor assault. He has said that he was provoked and “made a mistake even being there.’’

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota cornerback Chris Cook has been suspended indefinitely by the Vikings without pay, following a felony charge for allegedly strangling his girlfriend during an incident that left her bloodied.

The team issued a statement late Tuesday announcing the suspension and describing the allegations as “very disturbing and disappointing,” but declined to comment further “until the appropriate time.”

Cook was charged earlier Tuesday with felony domestic assault by strangulation, which carries a penalty of up to three years in prison and a $5,000 fine. State guidelines call for a sentence of a year and a day.

Cook was released on $40,000 bail from jail, where he’d been since his arrest early Saturday at his home in suburban Eden Prairie near team headquarters.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tried to muster up one of their infamous comebacks Sunday in London, but this time mistakes and injuries to key players was too much to overcome.

The Bucs fell 24-18 to the Chicago Bears, and if the loss wasn’t bad enough, they lost several starters to injuries during the game.

Tailback Earnest Graham in the game because of an injury to LeGarrett Blount, suffered a serious leg injury in the first quarter and shortly after, the Bucs lost the services of Jeremy Zuttah, Mason Foster, Tanard Jackson and Erik Lorig.

Buc quarterback Josh Freeman had one of his worst games, tossing four interceptions. Bears quarterback Jay Cutler finished the game 17 of 32 for 226 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Thanks to tailback Matt Forte’s 145 yards on 25 carries, the Bears were able to keep the Buc defense off balance.

The Bucs will have a bye week, then travel to New Orleans next Sunday to face NFC South division foe, the New Orleans Saints.

Fan Runs Onto Field During Bucs-Bears Game

WEMBLEY, ENGLAND – Tampa Bay and Chicago came to London to show off the American version of football. One fan gave them a sample of a tradition that’s more common in the European game.

A male fan ran onto the field at Wembley on Sunday during the fourth quarter of the Bears’ game against the Bucs when Tampa Bay was getting ready for a kickoff. The man promptly took his shirt off and ran the length of the field and back while players looked on in surprise. He even had time to give a high-five to Tampa Bay safety Sean Jones and Bears cornerback Corey Graham before being stopped by security officials.

ARLINGTON, TX — The only drama at the end of this one was whether rookie DeMarco Murray would set the Dallas Cowboys’ franchise rushing record, a remarkable feat considering it’s gone from Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett to NFL rushing king Emmitt Smith.

Murray indeed pulled it off, running through a shoddy St. Louis Rams defense for 253 yards, including an early 91-yard touchdown that got the Cowboys started toward a 34-7 victory on Sunday.

Murray ran for the most yards in the NFL this season and the ninth-most in league history. His touchdown was the second-longest run in team history, topped only by the NFL-record 99-yarder by Dorsett in January 1983. He also had the most yards ever against the Rams, replacing Jim Brown on that list.

“I never thought in a million years that I’d ever have a day like this,” Murray said. “This is what I’ve been working hard for since my Pop Warner days.”

DETROIT — ESPN is reporting that Detroit Lions running back Jerome Harrison has a brain tumor.

The network cited two NFL sources it did not identify in Thursday’s report. It says the tumor was revealed when Harrison had a physical after being dealt this week by Detroit to the Philadelphia Eagles in a trade that was voided by the discovery.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz wouldn’t confirm or deny the report, citing a privacy issue. He said Harrison was back on the team’s 53-man roster.

Harrison’s agent, Mitch Frankel, did not return phone and email messages.
