Family members of 86-year-old K.C. Henderson are concerned about his safety, and report he’s been missing since December 4, 2014.

Mr. Henderson had been living with in-laws when he decided to leave on his own. Although he hasn’t been officially diagnosed, family members said he is suffering from dementia and they fear he may have other health problems.

Mr. Henderson was last seen in the West Tampa area in the vicinity of the Oakhurst Square apartments on North Boulevard and Cypress. However, he could be anywhere in the West Tampa area, most notably along Main Street where a lot of elderly gentlemen hang out during the day.

A family member said Mr. Henderson doesn’t eat much, and because of the dementia, you have to tell him to eat. His vision is bad, but he reportedly moves around effectively.
