Since its inception, Ross Anderson, founder of Men of Vision has set about helping young men move in a positive direction in their lives. In keeping with this philosophy, Anderson is constantly exposing the young men to new ideas and new people.

Earlier this month, the service organization held a carwash fundraiser with two other organizations, the Tampa Police Department and Children with a Vision, Inc.

The fundraiser took place on Saturday, November 5th. It was held at the First Church Of God on Busch Blvd.

Anderson said, “This was our first Law Enforcement Carwash and Fundraiser. It was designed to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community it serves.”

Tampa Police Chief Eric Ward was in attendance at the event, along with Devonte Robinson. Robinson is an alumnus of Men of Vision and recently joined the Tampa Police Department.

Robinson is credited with organizing the event, Anderson said.
