FIRST ANNUAL SILVER NIGHT OUT DANCE HELD
The Bryan Glazer Family JCC and the City of Tampa Parks & Recreation Department hosted the First Annual Silver Night Out Dance for Active Adults. The formal event was held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, 6-10 p. m. at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC. Active Adults throughout Hillsborough County aged 50 years young and older were invited to attend. MRS. MOZELLA HESTER CELEBRATES HER 80TH BIRTHDAY
A birthday dinner to honor the 80th birthday of Mrs. Mozella Hester was held at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Hester was joined by members of her family, friends and members from her church. She received a bouquet of roses to celebrate the natal date. EDDIE SESSION FOUDATION PRESENTS FIRST SCHOLARSHIPS
The Eddie Session Foundation presented its first scholarships recently. Scholarships totally $5,000 and several computers were presented to graduating seniors with at least a 2.0 Grade Point Average, who are pursuing additional education. The Eddie Session Foundation was founded by his wife, Michelle Session, in honor of her late husband, who died in June 2017. Mrs. Session wishes to carry on his legacy by giving back to youth and families in need. Award recipients are shown with members of the Board: Dianne Hart, Tammy Cotton, Tatiana Cole, Stefon Harris, Eduardo Flores, Michelle Session, Roshawwn Cox, Gabrielle Allen, Trinity Hammond, Jayla Key, Remus Bulmer, Jr., Yartez Carter and Everett Chamber.
