Conservative Loon Refuses To Board Airplane With Black Pilot

Conservative Loon Refuses To Board Airplane With Black Pilot

Conservative commentator and author Ann Coulter refused to stay on board a Miami to New York commercial airline flight after learning the pilot was a woman of African-American descent.

According to witness reports Coulter was concerned the experienced, decorated pilot in question may have gained her position as a result of affirmative action and wasn’t fully qualified to fly.

The incident began when Coulter boarded the American Airlines flight and took up her first class seat. After a trip to the bathroom, she noticed the pilot was a Black woman and became immediately distraught.

According to passengers, at that point Coulter stood at the front of the cabin and began screaming her concerns to the entire flight as they finished boarding.

“Aw come on people, a black woman flying a plane? You know she got that job through affirmative action. Am I the only one worried about this? I mean hello? Our lives are at stake here…”

Realizing her efforts to provoke a mutiny had come to naught, Coulter then took her carry-on bags and bolted back up the jetway towards the gate against the orders of the flight attendants.

Ex-Cop Christopher Dorner Accuses LAPD Of Racism, Says Killing Spree Will Bring About ‘Substantial Change’

Ex-Cop Christopher Dorner Accuses LAPD Of Racism, Says Killing Spree Will Bring About ‘Substantial Change’

While authorities continue their search for ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner, more about his motivation for shooting cops, and killing a couple has been revealed.

According to his manifesto, the shooting spree was brought on by racism, and other injustices he witnessed while on the force.

He wrote more than 10,000 words about the LAPD, asserting that they never took action against incidents of police brutality, and racism. Instead, Dorner claims to have had his name ruined by being wrongfully accused and fired, for speaking out.

The LAPD has announced that it will not investigate any of the claims in the manifesto. They have put up check points, and ordered armed SWAT teams to walk through neighborhoods knocking on doors in search of Dorner. His car was found yesterday burned and abandoned in a wooded area, but he remains on the loose.

Capt. Phil Tingirides: Dorner ‘High Value Target’ Hasn’t Left Home, Scared For Family

Captain Phil Tingirides, 54, chair of the three-member “Board of Rights” that stripped fugitive murder suspect Christopher Dorner of his badge in 2008, has not left home since the manifesto became public and is afraid for not only his safety, but for the lives of his wife and six children.

“This month, it will be 33 years on the Los Angeles Police Department. I have had a number of threats and very rarely do I take them seriously,” Tingirides said. “In this case … I’m taking it very seriously. … I recognize I am susceptible to his violence.”

Dorner details why he is targeting Tingirides in the lengthy manifesto:

I later went to a Board of Rights (department hearing for decision of continued employment) from 10/08 to 1/09. During this BOR hearing a video was played for the BOR panel where Christopher Gettler stated that he was indeed kicked by Officer Evans. In addition to Christopher Gettler stating he was kicked, his father Richard Gettler, also stated that his son had stated he was kicked by an officer when he was arrested after being released from custody. This was all presented for the department at the BOR hearing. They still found me guilty and terminated me.

According to the transcript, Dorner yelled out in the hearing room, “I don’t understand that you guys came to guilty. I told the truth. I don’t understand how – I told the truth. How can this happen?”

His attorney, Randy Quan, asked whether he had any final words, and Dorner repeated: . “I told the truth.”

Dorner is suspected of killing Monica Quan, 28, and her 27-year-old fiance, Keith Lawrence, to exact vengeance against Quan.

Jesse Jackson Jr. Reportedly Faces Jail Time Over Campaign Finance Violations

Jesse Jackson Jr. Reportedly Faces Jail Time Over Campaign Finance Violations

Jesse Jackson Jr. is considering a plea deal from federal authorities who are investigating whether he misused campaign funds.

The former representative may serve prison time if he accepts the deal. “Significant jail time is now definitely a part of the deal,” said a source close to the probe. “But I think [Jackson’s wife] Sandi, feels like she was thrown under the bus by her husband, ” now that a separate probe has begun on her.

Sandi Jackson reportedly was shocked by the campaign finance abuse disclosures against her husband, who is accused of spending $40,000 on a Rolex with campaign funds.

This disclosure follows in the wake of an exclusive report Tuesday by political reporter Natasha Korecki, revealing the feds’ financial probe of the once-politically powerful Jackson couple has evolved into two separate investigations, with federal authorities now taking an independent look at former Ald. Sandi Jackson.

Judge Who Sexed Up Witness Suspended Without Pay

Judge Who Sexed Up Witness Suspended Without Pay

Wayne County Circuit Judge Wade McCree was suspended without pay after it was learned that he was having sex with a woman whose child-support case was pending in his court.

McCree was paid $12,000 a month prior to his suspension. McCree’s pay will be held in escrow until disciplinary proceedings against him are completed. He is currently being investigated for having sex with Geniene La’Shay Mott, a woman who took her ex-boyfriend to McCree’s court on felony charges that he was not paying child support.

“I met him as a litigant, a complaining witness in his courtroom, and he stayed around after the case was over and that’s when the second half of the flirting started and we went from there and our relationship picked up,” she said. “It went from being a summer fling and just something to do to falling in love, promises of marriage, me getting pregnant, us buying a house together, name it.”

More Diversity Likely In Next Pres. Obama Job Selections

More Diversity Likely In Next Pres. Obama Job Selections

WASHINGTON  — As he prepares to announce a new wave of Cabinet and other senior posts, President Barack Obama is aiming to put a more diverse face on his administration — an image that was missing as he filled the first round of vacancies of his second term with a parade of white men.

Pres. Obama is said to be looking at women, Latinos and openly gay candidates for top slots at the departments of Commerce, Labor and Interior, and for his own White House budget office.

The leading candidate for nomination to be secretary of commerce is Penny Pritzker, a long-time Pres. Obama ally and big-money fundraiser from Chicago, according to people familiar with the White House selection process. The top candidate to lead the White House Office of Management and Budget is Sylvia Mathews Burwell, who was a former budget, White House and treasury official in the Clinton administration and is now the president of the Wal-Mart Foundation.

Harvard Study: Google Search Of Black Names Leads To Increase In Arrest Record, Criminal History Ads

Harvard Study: Google Search Of Black Names Leads To Increase In Arrest Record, Criminal History Ads

Have you ever wondered why when you search for Black-related news using Google, several ads selling access to criminal history and arrest records pop up? According to Harvard professor Latanya Sweeney, that happens more often than we think and may expose society’s racial bias.

Prof Sweeney’s investigation suggests that names linked with Black people – as defined by a previous study into racial discrimination in the workplace – were 25% more likely to have results that prompted the searcher to click on a link to search criminal record history.

She found that names like Leroy, Kareem and Keisha would yield advertisements that read “Arrested?”, with a link to a website which could perform criminal record checks.

Searches for names such as Brad, Luke and Katie would not – instead more likely to offer websites that can provide general contact details.

“There is discrimination in the delivery of these ads,” concluded Prof Sweeney, adding that there was a less than 1% chance that the findings could be based on chance.

80,000 Jobs Added In Oct., Black Unemployment Dips To 15 Percent

WASHINGTON — The American job market improved modestly in October, and economists looking deeper into the numbers found real reasons for optimism — or at least what counts for optimism in this agonizingly slow economic recovery.

The nation added 80,000 jobs. That was fewer than the 100,000 that economists expected, but it was the 13th consecutive month of job gains. Fears of a new recession that loomed over the economy this summer have all but receded.

The unemployment rate nudged down, to 9 percent from 9.1 in September.

African-American unemployment fell slightly from 16.1 to 15 percent and in another encouraging sign black teen joblessness fell for the third straight month, moving from 44.2 percent to 37.8 percent.

Chuck E Cheese staff quickly contacted the Newington Police Department.

Police said the women had been separated and Bourne was in possession of a .380 caliber handgun.

Strom Thurmond’s Daughter Dies At 87

Strom Thurmond’s Daughter Dies At 87

COLUMBIA, SC — The Black daughter of the late U.S. Sen. Strom Thurmond who kept her parentage secret for more than 70 years to avoid damaging his political career has died. Essie Mae Washington-Williams was 87.

Vann Dozier of Leevy’s Funeral Home in Columbia said Washington-Williams died Monday. A cause of death wasn’t given.

Washington-Williams was the daughter of the one-time segregationist and his family’s Black maid.

There had been rumors for decades in political circles and the Black community that Thurmond had fathered a daughter by a Black woman. But Washington-Williams did not come forward and identify Thurmond as her father until after his death at age 100 in 2003.

Washington-Williams spent decades as a school teacher in Los Angeles. Thurmond was South Carolina’s governor and for a time was the nation’s longest-serving U.S. senator.
