{"id":9178,"date":"2011-08-18T15:06:37","date_gmt":"2011-08-18T19:06:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=9178"},"modified":"2011-08-18T13:57:20","modified_gmt":"2011-08-18T17:57:20","slug":"former-raven-jermaine-lewis-charged-in-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=9178","title":{"rendered":"Former Raven Jermaine Lewis Charged In Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BALTIMORE<\/strong> \u2014 Police used a stun gun on former Ravens wide receiver <strong>Jermaine Lewis<\/strong> and charged him with resisting arrest after a traffic accident Monday evening in Baltimore County.<\/p>\n<p>An officer responding to calls about a Dodge Charger that was weaving on roads and hit the Volunteer Fire Department\u2019s sign without stopping went to <strong>Lewis<\/strong>\u2019 Reisterstown home where a the car was parked.<\/p>\n<p>The officer found <strong>Lewis<\/strong> lying on the couch. The officer questioned <strong>Lewis<\/strong> about the crash and documents state <strong>Lewis<\/strong> responded that he had hit a sign, but didn\u2019t hurt anybody.<\/p>\n<p>The officer grabbed<strong> Lewis\u2019<\/strong> arm to arrest him, but <strong>Lewis<\/strong> resisted being pulled off the couch even when the officer threatened to shock him with a stun gun. The officer shocked <strong>Lewis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lewis<\/strong> was charged with resisting arrest and cited for traffic offenses including driving on a revoked license, failing to control his speed to avoid a collision and failing to stop after an unattended property damage accident.
