{"id":8713,"date":"2011-07-25T15:38:43","date_gmt":"2011-07-25T19:38:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=8713"},"modified":"2011-07-25T13:41:49","modified_gmt":"2011-07-25T17:41:49","slug":"basketball-wives%e2%80%99-meeka-files-suit-against-tami-after-the-italy-beatdown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=8713","title":{"rendered":"Basketball Wives\u2019 Meeka Files Suit  Against Tami After The Italy Beatdown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the Nassau County Clerk\u2019s Office of the New York State Supreme Court, a lawsuit was entered at their office on July 21, 2011 listing <strong>Khameka \u2018Meeka\u2019 Claxton<\/strong> as the plaintiff and\u00a0 <strong>Tami Roman<\/strong> as the defendant.<\/p>\n<p>In the suit, <strong>Meeka<\/strong> alleges that by drawing her unwillingly into fisticuffs during the <em>Basketball Wives<\/em> cast trip to Italy in May, <strong>Tami<\/strong> intended on causing her physical, emotional or psychological harm; that <strong>Tami<\/strong> had her in fear for her physical well being; and that as a result of <strong>Tami\u2019s<\/strong> \u201cconduct,\u201d she was \u201crendered sick, sore, lame, sustained severe and painful personal injuries, sustained severe nervous shock, mental anguish, severe emotional distress and great physical pain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So all in all, <strong>Meeka<\/strong> is suing <strong>Tami<\/strong> for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and intentional interference with contractual relations \u2013 aka stopping her checks from coming in the amount of $12,500.<\/p>\n<p>The Nassau County Clerk\u2019s office was unable to confirm the amount of the lawsuit.
