HOLTON<br \/>\nSentinel City Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Monday, June 27th, <strong>Rafael Lee<\/strong>, Manager of Walgreen\u2019s at N. 56th Street and E. Busch Blvd., is inviting the community to visit his store. Those who stop by between the hours of 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., can take advantage of free testing for various illnesses.<\/p>\n<p>The event is being held in recognition of National HIV Testing Day and in partnership with Tampa Bay Community Events. <strong>Lee <\/strong>said those who visit the store can obtain tests for HIV, STIs, pregnancy, A1C (for diabetes), blood pressure, and glucose.<strong>[private]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are trying to make the community aware that we are here to service their needs. It\u2019s all about being well. Our motto is \u2018Live Well, Stay Well.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur community is our no. 1 focus and our goal is to educate the community about their health care needs,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>A native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Lee enrolled at the University of Tampa in 1997 and earned his B. S. Degree in Psychology. He continued his education at the University of South Florida, where he received his Master\u2019s Degree in Family Counseling. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Family Counseling.<\/p>\n<p>While searching for employment, he submitted an application to Walgreens for an Internship in 1999. He was offered an Assistant Manager position and has remained with the company since that time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lee<\/strong> has worked at several stores through the bay area and was promoted to Manager in 2001. He became the manager of his current store in 2003.<\/p>\n<p>Having been with the company for more than 10 years, Lee said he plans on seeking a career. \u201cIt\u2019s a good company.
