{"id":7649,"date":"2011-06-16T16:37:28","date_gmt":"2011-06-16T20:37:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=7649"},"modified":"2011-06-16T16:37:28","modified_gmt":"2011-06-16T20:37:28","slug":"shaq-in-middle-of-kidnapping-robbery-sex-tape-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=7649","title":{"rendered":"Shaq In Middle Of Kidnapping, Robbery, Sex Tape Case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Shaquille O\u2019Neal<\/strong> is embroiled in a criminal case in which 7 gang members allegedly kidnapped, beat up and robbed a man who claimed to have a tape showing <strong>Shaq<\/strong> having sex with other women while he was married to <strong>Shaunie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement sources say <strong>Ladell Rowles<\/strong> \u2014 a member of the Main Street Mafia Crip Gang in L.A. who is friends with Shaq \u2014 along with 6 other members went on a search and destroy mission in L.A. on February 11, 2008. They believed a man named Robert Ross had the sex tape and they tried getting it back with the help of a gun or two.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police report, the 7 gang members met up with <strong>Ross<\/strong> at a convenience store \u2014 Pink Dot \u2014 on the Sunset Strip.\u00a0 The men allegedly surrounded Ross\u2019 Rolls Royce Phantom with guns drawn, jumped into Ross\u2019 car and ordered him to drive to Rowles\u2019 house in South Central L.A.<\/p>\n<p>Once there, <strong>Rowles<\/strong> allegedly pistol whipped <strong>Ross <\/strong>and demanded that he turn over the sex tape.\u00a0 <strong>Ross<\/strong> said he would get the tape and bring it back to them.\u00a0 The 7 men then allegedly took <strong>Ross\u2019<\/strong> Rolex, diamond chain and earrings, along with $15,000 in cash \u2014 then let Ross go.<\/p>\n<p>The 7 men have been arrested and charged with robbery, kidnapping and other crimes. They are currently in the middle of a preliminary hearing and being held in jail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ross<\/strong> has a history with <strong>Shaq<\/strong>.\u00a0 <strong>Shaq<\/strong> and his business manager, <strong>Mark Stevens<\/strong>, have a record label and allegedly told <strong>Ross<\/strong> they would give him a 50% cut in any artists he brought to them.\u00a0 <strong>Ross<\/strong> claims he delivered <strong>Ray J<\/strong> to <strong>Shaq<\/strong>, but got cut out of the deal.<br \/>\n<strong>Ross<\/strong> told cops after his falling out, he threatened Shaq by telling him about the sex tape, threatening to release it unless Shaq paid up.<\/p>\n<p>As for the tape, <strong>Ross<\/strong> claims <strong>Shaq<\/strong> brought women to <strong>Ross\u2019 <\/strong>home and had sex with them while he was married to <strong>Shaunie<\/strong>. Ross told <strong>Shaq<\/strong> a \u201csecurity camera\u201d captured the action and it was all on tape.\u00a0 But <strong>Ross<\/strong> told cops the security camera recycles periodically and the video no longer exists.<\/p>\n<p>And there\u2019s another twist.\u00a0 Around the time <strong>Shaq<\/strong> and <strong>Ross<\/strong> had their falling out, <strong>Shaunie<\/strong> separated from <strong>Shaq<\/strong> and <strong>Ross<\/strong> claims he began having an affair with her.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shaquille O\u2019Neal is embroiled in a criminal case in which 7 gang members allegedly kidnapped, beat up and robbed a man who claimed to have a tape showing Shaq having sex with other women while he was married to Shaunie.
