Over the past 21 years, the group has awarded $201,000 in scholarships.\u00a0 The Awards Ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn Express, Westshore Blvd.\u00a0 This year\u2019s theme was: \u201c\u201dReflecting On Our Past, Moving Towards TheFuture. Those in attendance were, <\/strong><strong>from the left: TR Coverson, Mayor\u2019s African American Advisory Committee (MAAAC); Tiffann Isley, MAAAC Education Chair; Regina Lock-DePass, City Of Tampa Black History Committee (COTBHC) member; Pierre Alsint, Bobby Bowden Scholarship Recipient; Jamie Walker, Presidential Scholarship Recipient; Tyler Watkins, Presidential and MAAAC Scholarship Recipient; Celeste Gibbons-Peoples, COTBHC President; Freddy Barton, Keynote Speaker; Ebone Cruz, Mistress of Ceremonies; Adrian Mitchell, Janett S.
