The well attended event was held at Seminole Heights Library, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Several families and volunteers were on hand to motivate children to read everyday. The children participated in several activities that involved reading and learned about Dr. George Washington Carver, who was the focal point of the event. Each child received a new book at the end of the event. Ms. Dunkley was assisted by Ms. Maxine Davis in making the program possible.
