{"id":6632,"date":"2011-05-12T14:45:38","date_gmt":"2011-05-12T18:45:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=6632"},"modified":"2011-05-12T14:45:38","modified_gmt":"2011-05-12T18:45:38","slug":"jerry-west-magic-johnson-%e2%80%98embarrassed%e2%80%99-by-lakers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=6632","title":{"rendered":"Jerry West, Magic Johnson \u2018Embarrassed\u2019 By Lakers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Not only did the Dallas Mavericks embarrass the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, they embarrassed a couple of former Lakers stars.<\/p>\n<p>After the Mavericks finished off the sweep, <strong>Magic Johnson<\/strong> said that the Lakers \u201cembarrassed the organization\u201d and called the fouls on <strong>Lamar Odom <\/strong>and <strong>Andrew Bynum<\/strong> \u201cclassless.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ex-Lakers star and general manager <strong>Jerry West<\/strong> said that he \u201cwas a little bit embarrassed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot with the loss,\u201d <strong>West<\/strong> said. &#8220;But some of the things I saw on the floor which I thought were really just not something that a person that wears a Laker uniform should do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the fourth quarter of Game 4, Dallas&#8217; <strong>J.J. Barea<\/strong> drove to the basket and <strong>Bynum <\/strong>leveled him with an elbow to the ribs.
