According to documents, on October 28, 2010, <strong>Ms. Tanisha Benton<\/strong>, 41,\u00a0 approached <strong>Luis Salas-Farfan<\/strong>, 30, about citations given to another co-worker, <strong>Ms. Cedrina Ervin<\/strong>, 22, being handled off the record.<\/p>\n<p>On December 9, 2010, Tampa Police officers visited <strong>Ms. Ervin<\/strong> in reference to citations and about her boyfriend. Her boyfriend had been involved in a police chase while driving <strong>Ms. Ervin\u2019s<\/strong> vehicle, documents show.<\/p>\n<p>After the visit by police, management reviewed the records and discovered the other activity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ms. Benton<\/strong> and<strong> Salas-Farfan<\/strong>, resigned on February 2, 2011. <strong>Ms. Ervin<\/strong> resigned on February 3, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation also resulted in the unpaid suspension of eight other employees. Suspended on April 16th were: <strong>Ms. Ada Delgado<\/strong>, 44; <strong>Ms. Gisela Bakke<\/strong>, 34; <strong>Ms. Mayte<\/strong> <strong>Delgado<\/strong>, 41;<strong> Ms. Irmarie Cordero Quinones<\/strong>, 40; <strong>Ms. Laura Trader<\/strong>, 53; <strong>Ms. Maylen Almira<\/strong>, 28; <strong>Ms. Rita Mooney<\/strong>, 50; and <strong>Ms. Sonia Lopez<\/strong>, 30.<\/p>\n<p>On April 18th, <strong>Ms. Frank<\/strong> contacted the Hillsborough County Sheriff\u2019s Department to launch a criminal investigation as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last year, Ms. Pat Frank, Hillsborough County Clerk of Circuit Courts, launched an investigation in the Traffic Department, in reference to violations.
