{"id":6086,"date":"2011-04-28T13:45:10","date_gmt":"2011-04-28T17:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=6086"},"modified":"2011-04-28T13:45:10","modified_gmt":"2011-04-28T17:45:10","slug":"redskins%e2%80%99-haynesworth-formally-charged-with-sexual-abuse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=6086","title":{"rendered":"Redskins\u2019 Haynesworth Formally Charged With Sexual Abuse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON \u2014 Washington Redskins defensive lineman <strong>Albert Haynesworth<\/strong> was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor sexual abuse for allegedly fondling the breast of his server in a hotel restaurant in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>A grand jury returned an indictment formally charging <strong>Haynesworth<\/strong> over the alleged incident at a downtown Washington hotel in the early hours of Feb. 13. If convicted, the 29-year-old two-time All-Pro faces up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.<\/p>\n<p>According to the U. S. attorney\u2019s office, the government\u2019s evidence shows <strong>Haynesworth<\/strong> slid a credit card down the front of the server\u2019s dress and fondled her breast.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Haynesworth<\/strong> also faces charges in Virginia for allegedly punching a man during a road-rage assault. His trial is scheduled for May.<\/p>\n<p>At one point last summer, he was also involved in lawsuits from a bank, an exotic dancer, a man injured in an automobile accident and complaints from his ex-wife that he wasn\u2019t paying for her health insurance or their children\u2019s bills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Haynesworth<\/strong> has also dealt with his share of on-the-field problems over the past year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON \u2014 Washington Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor sexual abuse for allegedly fondling the breast of his server in a hotel restaurant in Washington.
