{"id":5649,"date":"2011-04-14T15:37:54","date_gmt":"2011-04-14T19:37:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=5649"},"modified":"2011-04-14T15:37:54","modified_gmt":"2011-04-14T19:37:54","slug":"hcc-to-host-summit-for-minority-male-students%e2%80%a8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=5649","title":{"rendered":"HCC To Host Summit For Minority Male Students?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of an ongoing effort to address the issues that confront minority male students attending college, HCC is hosting a minority male summit on Friday, April 15, from 1 p. m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Dale Mabry Campus.<\/p>\n<p>Statistically, minority male students rank the lowest in terms of college persistence rates, and HCC has been leading a national discussion to tackle the issues that lead to this population\u2019s disproportionate drop-out rates.<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Khalil G.
