The Tampa Police Department is investigating an incident where a 3-year-old was left inside a daycare van. This marks the second time within weeks that the same child has been left inside the van.<\/p>\n
According to a spokesperson for the Tampa Police Department, the child was discovered inside the Children\u2019s Center Daycare, 6501 N. Central Avenue, van by a Hillsborough County Daycare Inspector. The inspector contacted police and reported the incident at 12:20 Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n
One of the windows in the van was slightly open.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, police said the child appeared unharmed, but Fire Rescue responded and evaluated him before he was released to his parents.<\/p>\n
The case is being investigated as a Child Neglect case and the identity of the child will not be released, the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
