{"id":3551,"date":"2011-02-10T16:10:29","date_gmt":"2011-02-10T21:10:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=3551"},"modified":"2011-02-14T17:04:20","modified_gmt":"2011-02-14T22:04:20","slug":"breaking-news-girlfriend-of-man-accused-of-killing-son-charged","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=3551","title":{"rendered":"Girlfriend Of Man Accused Of Killing Son Charged"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a thorough investigation, Tampa Police have charged a second person in the death of <strong>Ronderique Anderson.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ronderique<\/strong>, 16-months-old, died days after his father, <strong>Dwayne Poole<\/strong>, allegedly threw him onto a bed causing his head to strike a wall or dresser, then striking the boy with his hand and a belt. <strong>Ronderique<\/strong> was hospitalized and determined to be brain dead until his life support was removed and he was pronounced dead February 5th.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, detectives determined Poole&#8217;s girlfriend, <strong>Tonya Myers<\/strong>, knew of the abuse. While interviewing <strong>Myers <\/strong>regarding <strong>Ronderique&#8217;s<\/strong> swollen jaw and missing teeth, police said she admitted knowing Poole had knocked out the toddler&#8217;s teeth. She also reportedly told police <strong>Ronderique <\/strong>had suffered continued abuse at the hands of Poole.<\/p>\n<p>Police said <strong>Myers<\/strong> failed to protect <strong>Ronderique<\/strong> from the beating and seek medical attention for his injuries.
