{"id":3507,"date":"2011-02-10T15:18:09","date_gmt":"2011-02-10T20:18:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=3507"},"modified":"2011-02-10T15:18:09","modified_gmt":"2011-02-10T20:18:09","slug":"driver-passenger-pulled-from-river-after-truck-goes-off-bridge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=3507","title":{"rendered":"Driver, Passenger Pulled From River After Truck Goes Off Bridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday morning, Tampa Fire Rescue reported that a truck was in the water near the Brorein Street Bridge.<\/p>\n<p>TFR personnel and police at the scene reported that the driver and passenger were standing on top of a submerged 2003 Dodge Ram truck when they arrived.<\/p>\n<p>What police have determined is that the driver was crossing the Brorein Bridge and tried to change lanes. Traffic slowed down in front of him, making him swerve back to his original lane. He lost control of the truck, hit the guard rail and went over the side of the bridge.<\/p>\n<p>The driver was identified only as a 22-year-old Tampa man and the passenger a 20-year-old New Jersey resident.<\/p>\n<p>Both men were transported to a local hospital and are reported to be in good condition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Thursday morning, Tampa Fire Rescue reported that a truck was in the water near the Brorein Street Bridge.
