Syndicated Radio Personality Michael Baisden chose Tampa as one of three Florida cities to debut his new film \u201cDo Women Know What They Want?\u201d \u00a0\u00a0Baisden joined nearly 400 of his loyal listeners at the IMAX Theater in Channelside Saturday night for a private screening.<\/p>\n

Baisden says he decided to do the documentary because the topic was long overdue. \u00a0\u201cI think it\u2019s a common question. \u00a0Do women know what they want? \u00a0\u00a0I think men want to know. \u00a0I think a lot of women<\/p>\n

are conflicted as to whether or not women know what they want,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The film explores a number of controversial topics ranging from interracial dating to \u201copen\u201d marriages. Married couples, dating couples, single women and men in the theater found it hard to keep from laughing hysterically or talking back to the movie screen.<\/p>\n

Arthur and Belinda Strawder were among them. \u00a0The two have been married 38 years and say they found the film \u201cenjoyable, insightful and thought provoking,\u201d but made it clear some matters discussed do not coincide with their personal or spiritual beliefs. \u00a0\u201cThe issue of open marriages is an absolute no, no,\u201d says Belinda. \u00a0Open marriages are marriages where a [\/private]husband and wife agree to openly have intimate relations with other people.<\/p>\n

Twenty-nine-year-old Maranda Hill is single and feels \u201cthe concept is a fair issue to tackle because it\u2019s real.\u201d \u00a0However she makes it clear it\u2019s something she would never condone. \u00a0\u00a0Arthur Strawder says the best way to describe the film is \u201can unscripted reality show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Baisden hopes people are challenged by some of the points made by those in the documentary.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the great thing about a documentary. \u00a0It\u2019s not what I think. \u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s me asking the questions and people telling me what they think, which is what I love. \u00a0I love challenging people with the question \u2018What do you think?\u2019 \u00a0So, this is the ultimate what do you think about sex? \u00a0What do you think about relationships? \u00a0What do you think about monogamy? \u00a0What do you think about women being challenged in relationships? \u00a0\u00a0This is my way of allowing my listeners to have an audience and to challenge other people with their questions,\u201d Baisden explained.<\/p>\n
