HOLTON<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b>Sentinel City Editor<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, members of the Tampa Sports Authority voted to select the new Chairman for the upcoming year. <b>Rev. Dr. Thomas Scott<\/b> was unanimously voted to serve in that capacity. His 1-year term began immediately.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rev. Dr. Scott<\/b> had served on the board for three years in the past. <b>Mayor Bob Buckhorn<\/b> re-appointed him in July 2011 and his term expires in June 2015.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am honored to be able to serve in this capacity and I\u2019m looking forward to working with the board,\u201d <b>Rev. Scott<\/b> said.<\/p>\n<p>Since moving to Tampa, <b>Rev. Dr. Scott <\/b>has been elected to serve on the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners and on the Tampa City Council.
