Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Macklin suffered a torn ACL during the team\u2019s second full day of training camp Saturday, effectively ending the five year veteran\u2019s season before it even started.
\nAccording to reporters, Macklin suffered the injury in a freak practice field accident where he wasn\u2019t even touched by a teammate. He laid writing on the ground in pain for several minutes before trainers were able to assist him. The newspaper reported Macklin was carted off the field without being able to put any weight on his leg
\n“I [had] seen it out of the corner of my eye,” quarterback Michael Vick told USA Today. “I [had] seen him fall. And usually, when a guy falls like that, you know it’s something to be worried about.”
