{"id":22511,"date":"2013-07-15T17:44:55","date_gmt":"2013-07-15T21:44:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=22511"},"modified":"2013-07-15T17:44:55","modified_gmt":"2013-07-15T21:44:55","slug":"pippen-sued-for-4m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=22511","title":{"rendered":"Pippen Sued For $4M"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MALIBU, Calif. \u2014 Former Chicago Bulls star<strong> Scottie Pippen <\/strong>is being sued over a fight last month at an upscale Southern California restaurant that left a man injured.<\/p>\n<p>The $4 million lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court says 49-year-old plaintiff <strong>Camran Shafighi<\/strong> simply asked <strong>Pippen<\/strong> for a photograph for his girlfriend\u2019s 12-year-old son. Instead, the suit says, <strong>Shafighi <\/strong>got a \u201cbrutal and unjustified physical attack\u201d that included spit in the face, a shove, and a punch that sent Shafighi to the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff\u2019s officials, who were still investigating the incident, said<strong> Pippen<\/strong> voluntarily came into a station to be questioned and was cooperative.
