The offense took place at a local restaurant last month.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, at approximately 8:25 p.m., on June 25<sup>th<\/sup>, two women entered the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Brandon to attend a birthday party.<\/p>\n<p>Police said another patron in the business was holding his wife\u2019s purse and he sat it down on the counter.<\/p>\n<p>The surveillance video shows one of the women directing her 9-year-old nephew to get the purse. The child reportedly reached behind the victim and grabbed the purse. He then ran into the seating area, where he placed the purse on a table where the two women, identified as <strong>Jasmine Johnson,<\/strong> 26, and 24-year-old <strong>Chantel Jenkins,<\/strong> were seated.<\/p>\n<p>Police said both women are seen leaving the restaurant with one of the women, identified as <strong>Ms. Jenkins<\/strong> carrying the purse.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives learned during the investigation that the 9-year-old had no knowledge the purse belonged to someone else and he is also being considered a victim in the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The same evening the theft occurred, the victim\u2019s credit cards were fraudulently used at a local convenience store. Police are continuing their investigation to determine who used the credit cards.<\/p>\n<p>Warrants have been issued for <strong>Ms. Johnson<\/strong> and <strong>Ms. Jenkins<\/strong> for grand theft, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and fraudulent possession of personal information.
