{"id":21834,"date":"2013-06-10T16:01:06","date_gmt":"2013-06-10T20:01:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=21834"},"modified":"2013-06-10T16:01:06","modified_gmt":"2013-06-10T20:01:06","slug":"titus-young-released-from-jail-after-posting-reported-50000-bond","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=21834","title":{"rendered":"Titus Young Released From Jail After Posting Reported $50,000 Bond"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Former Detroit Lions wide receiver <strong>Titus Young<\/strong> was released from an Orange County, Calif., jail Thursday night on $50,000 bond after almost a month behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>The wide receiver is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing June 24.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Young <\/strong>had been imprisoned since he was arrested for a third time on May 11 for burglary, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest after allegedly breaking into a home.<\/p>\n<p>The wide receiver was initially arrested on May 5 for suspicion of DUI in Riverside County. He was taken into custody again later the same day for allegedly breaking into a tow yard to steal back his own impounded car.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Young<\/strong> had also been issued a permanent restraining order by his child\u2019s mother after she claimed there were threats of domestic violence.<\/p>\n<p>The Lions released <strong>Young<\/strong> on Feb. 4, 2013, after he repeatedly broke team rules and became a distraction. The St. Louis Rams claimed him off waivers on Feb. 5 only to release him 10 days later.<\/p>\n<p>Since becoming a free agent, <strong>Young<\/strong> has had several run-ins with the law, and his father may know why the 23-year-old is having so much trouble. <strong>Young\u2019s<\/strong> father claims that his son has a brain disorder and needs help.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young was released from an Orange County, Calif., jail Thursday night on $50,000 bond after almost a month behind bars.
