{"id":21302,"date":"2013-05-20T16:07:52","date_gmt":"2013-05-20T20:07:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=21302"},"modified":"2013-05-20T16:07:52","modified_gmt":"2013-05-20T20:07:52","slug":"president-barack-obamas-address-to-morehouse-graduates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=21302","title":{"rendered":"President Barack Obama\u2019s Address To Morehouse Graduates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>President Barack Obama<\/strong> delivered the commencement address to graduates of Morehouse College on Sunday, making history as the first African-American president, addressing the alma mater of men including <strong>Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>About 500 graduates gathered in the rain, along with their families, to hear the president speak, about his own challenges growing up without his father, and exhorting the Morehouse men to be the best husbands, boyfriends and fathers they could be.<\/p>\n<p>Before delivering his remarks, <strong>Pres. Obama<\/strong> received an honorary Morehouse degree.
