{"id":20948,"date":"2013-04-29T15:51:05","date_gmt":"2013-04-29T19:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=20948"},"modified":"2013-04-29T15:51:05","modified_gmt":"2013-04-29T19:51:05","slug":"death-of-couple-believed-to-be-murder-suicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=20948","title":{"rendered":"Death Of Couple Believed To Be Murder-Suicide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday evening, the Hillsborough County Sheriff\u2019s Office received a call<strong> <\/strong>from a woman who said she had found the bodies of her son, <strong>Jason Allen<\/strong>, 37, and his estranged wife, <strong>Pamela Allen<\/strong>, 38, inside her Clair-Mel City home. Both were dead.<\/p>\n<p>When deputies arrived, they reported that based on the evidence at the scene, <strong>Jason<\/strong> had shot and killed <strong>Pamela<\/strong>, then killed himself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wanda Baker<\/strong>, sister of <strong>Jason Allen<\/strong>, said this tragedy has hit both families very hard, and unexpectedly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Jason<\/strong> lived with our parents and was taking care of them. They depended on him a lot, and he was always there for them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>Jason<\/strong> was also the devoted father of five children, and loved them very much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong> Ms. Baker<\/strong> said her brother and <strong>Pamela<\/strong> had a volatile relationship, and they separated some time ago and were seeing other people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey both had found other people, and moved on with their lives, although they were legally still married.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey had known each other for 12 years, and were married for 8 years. No one believes their arguments would lead to this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ms. Baker<\/strong> said her family offers condolences to <strong>Pamela\u2019s<\/strong> family, and she wishes things had ended differently.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight after this happened, our families weren\u2019t happy with each other. I hope that will get better, because we both have lost someone very dear to us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ms. Baker<\/strong> said she thinks <strong>Jason<\/strong> and <strong>Pamela <\/strong>were angry with each other over things that had happened in their relationship, but no one ever thought it would lead to this.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe shooting happened at his house. <strong>Pamela<\/strong> was there, because she would come over from time to time just to talk to our parents and to <strong>Jason<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jason Allen\u2019s<\/strong> family is still making arrangements for a service.
