{"id":20945,"date":"2013-04-29T15:50:16","date_gmt":"2013-04-29T19:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=20945"},"modified":"2013-04-29T15:50:16","modified_gmt":"2013-04-29T19:50:16","slug":"man-charged-with-trying-to-put-hit-on-victim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=20945","title":{"rendered":"Man Charged With Trying To Put Hit On Victim"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Demetrius Morris<\/strong>, 27, now has the charge of solicitation to commit first-degree murder added to the list of charges he\u2019s been held on.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said between April 12, 2013 and April 21, 2013, <strong>Morris<\/strong>, communicated through notes that he wanted to have a hit placed on the victim and her daughter in a pending case.<\/p>\n<p>In that case, <strong>Morris<\/strong> was arrested in October 2012 on charges of sexual battery, kidnapping, lewd and lascivious battery on an elderly person, and lewd and lascivious molestation on an elderly person.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said <strong>Morris <\/strong>tried to get both the victim and her daughter killed before his court date on May 8, 2013.
