According to police, he has been identified as 52-year-old <strong>Rebrant Dwayne Bryant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bryant<\/strong> is facing charges of falsely impersonating a police officer, exploitation of the elderly and grand theft. <strong>Bryant<\/strong> is alleged to have gone to the homes of the East Tampa women and portrayed himself as a detective. He then urged the victims to cooperate with his investigation by giving him money.<\/p>\n<p>He has been arrested in eleven states for similar scams and drug charges.
