{"id":20181,"date":"2013-03-21T13:59:11","date_gmt":"2013-03-21T17:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=20181"},"modified":"2013-03-21T13:59:11","modified_gmt":"2013-03-21T17:59:11","slug":"michael-jacksons-children-katherine-jackson-want-40b-from-aeg-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=20181","title":{"rendered":"Michael Jackson&#8217;s Children, Katherine Jackson Want $40B From AEG Live"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Michael Jackson&#8217;s<\/strong> children and <strong>Katherine Jackson<\/strong> want $40 billion from AEG Live for his death.<\/p>\n<p>It appears the <strong>Jackson<\/strong> family isn&#8217;t letting AEG Live get off easy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Jackson&#8217;<\/strong>s children <strong>Prince<\/strong>, <strong>Paris<\/strong> and <strong>Blanket<\/strong>, along with their grandmother, <strong>Katherine Jackson<\/strong>, are requesting $40 billion from the entertainment company for the death of their father in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>The family is suing AEG Live &#8212; who sponsored <strong>Michael&#8217;s <\/strong><em>&#8220;This Is It&#8221;<\/em> tour &#8212; for its alleged negligent hiring and supervision of <strong>Dr. Conrad Murray<\/strong>, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the <strong>King Of Pop&#8217;s<\/strong> death.<\/p>\n<p>The kids reportedly want $10 billion for all of the future earnings they claim their dad would have made had he lived, as well as an additional $50 million for various other damages. Still, AEG Live says the<strong> Jacksons&#8217;<\/strong> billion dollar demand is ridiculous considering <strong>Michael&#8217;s<\/strong> career was in a state of decline after his child molestation allegations.
