Holmes has a base salary of $11 million next season and a cap figure of $12.5 million ($7.5 million guaranteed).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Holmes<\/strong> played in just four games in 2012. The 28-year-old was limited to four games because of a foot injury. He had 20 receptions for 272 yards and a touchdown in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Last week the Jets cut veteran linebackers <strong>Calvin Pace <\/strong>and <strong>Bart Scott<\/strong>, offensive tackle <strong>Jason Smith<\/strong> and safety <strong>Eric Smith<\/strong> to get under the salary cap.
