{"id":19655,"date":"2013-02-18T16:22:09","date_gmt":"2013-02-18T21:22:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=19655"},"modified":"2013-02-18T16:22:09","modified_gmt":"2013-02-18T21:22:09","slug":"passenger-who-allegedly-slapped-baby-and-call-him-ngger-loses-his-job","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=19655","title":{"rendered":"Passenger Who Allegedly Slapped Baby And Call Him \u2018N*gger\u2019 Loses His Job"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MINNEAPOLIS \u2014A man charged with slapping a toddler on a Minneapolis-to-Atlanta flight is out of a job, his former employer said Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joe Rickey Hundley<\/strong>, 60, of Hayden, Idaho, is no longer an employee of AGC Aerospace and Defense, Composites Group, <strong>Daniel Keeney<\/strong> of DPK Public Relations confirmed Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hundley<\/strong> was charged last week in federal court in Atlanta with simple assault for allegedly slapping the 2-year-old boy during the Feb. 8 flight. His attorney, <strong>Marcia Shein<\/strong>, of Decatur, Ga., said Saturday that <strong>Hundley<\/strong> will plead not guilty. The charge carries a maximum penalty of a year in jail.<\/p>\n<p>The boy\u2019s mother, <strong>Jessica Bennett,<\/strong> 33, told the FBI their flight was on final descent into Atlanta when her 19-month-old son started to cry due to the altitude change. <strong>Hundley<\/strong> \u201ctold her to shut that (N-word) baby up,\u201d FBI special agent <strong>Daron Cheney <\/strong>said in a sworn statement.
