Instead, <strong>Dorner<\/strong> claims to have had his name ruined by being wrongfully accused and fired, for speaking out.<\/p>\n<p>The LAPD has announced that it will not investigate any of the claims in the manifesto. They have put up check points, and ordered armed SWAT teams to walk through neighborhoods knocking on doors in search of <strong>Dorner<\/strong>. His car was found yesterday burned and abandoned in a wooded area, but he remains on the loose.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Capt. Phil Tingirides: Dorner \u2018High Value Target\u2019 Hasn\u2019t Left Home, Scared For Family<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Captain Phil Tingirides<\/strong>, 54, chair of the three-member \u201cBoard of Rights\u201d that stripped fugitive murder suspect <strong>Christopher Dorner<\/strong> of his badge in 2008, has not left home since the manifesto became public and is afraid for not only his safety, but for the lives of his wife and six children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis month, it will be 33 years on the Los Angeles Police Department. I have had a number of threats and very rarely do I take them seriously,\u201d <strong>Tingirides<\/strong> said. \u201cIn this case \u2026 I\u2019m taking it very seriously. \u2026 I recognize I am susceptible to his violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dorner<\/strong> details why he is targeting <strong>Tingirides<\/strong> in the lengthy manifesto:<\/p>\n<p>I later went to a Board of Rights (department hearing for decision of continued employment) from 10\/08 to 1\/09. During this BOR hearing a video was played for the BOR panel where <strong>Christopher Gettler<\/strong> stated that he was indeed kicked by <strong>Officer Evans<\/strong>. In addition to <strong>Christopher Gettler<\/strong> stating he was kicked, his father <strong>Richard Gettler<\/strong>, also stated that his son had stated he was kicked by an officer when he was arrested after being released from custody. This was all presented for the department at the BOR hearing. They still found me guilty and terminated me.<\/p>\n<p>According to the transcript, <strong>Dorner<\/strong> yelled out in the hearing room, \u201cI don\u2019t understand that you guys came to guilty. I told the truth. I don\u2019t understand how \u2013 I told the truth. How can this happen?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His attorney, <strong>Randy Quan<\/strong>, asked whether he had any final words, and <strong>Dorner<\/strong> repeated: . \u201cI told the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dorner<\/strong> is suspected of killing <strong>Monica Quan,<\/strong> 28, and her 27-year-old fiance, <strong>Keith Lawrence<\/strong>, to exact vengeance against <strong>Quan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While authorities continue their search for ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner, more about his motivation for shooting cops, and killing a couple has been revealed.
