He was 69.<\/p>\n<p>A spokeswoman for an Ohio funeral home confirms he died last Saturday. There is also a posting about his death on his current band\u2019s Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Ohio Players<\/strong> topped music charts in the 1970s with hits such as <em>\u201cLove Rollercoaster,<\/em>\u201d <em>\u201dFire,\u201d \u201dSkin Tight\u201d <\/em>and <em>\u201cFunky Worm.\u201d<\/em> They were known for their brassy dance music, catchy lyrics and flamboyant outfits.<strong> Bonner<\/strong> helped form the <strong>Ohio Players<\/strong> in the 1960s.
