{"id":18910,"date":"2013-01-03T15:45:11","date_gmt":"2013-01-03T20:45:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=18910"},"modified":"2013-01-03T15:45:11","modified_gmt":"2013-01-03T20:45:11","slug":"hillary-clinton-receiving-blood-thinners-to-dissolve-clot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=18910","title":{"rendered":"Hillary Clinton Receiving Blood Thinners To Dissolve Clot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON &#8212; <strong>Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton<\/strong> continues to recover in a New York hospital where she&#8217;s being treated for a blood clot in her head.<\/p>\n<p>Her doctors say blood thinners are being used to dissolve the clot and they are confident she will make a full recovery. <strong>Clinton<\/strong> didn&#8217;t suffer a stroke or neurological damage from the clot that formed after she suffered a concussion during a fainting spell at her home in early December, doctors said in a statement Monday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clinton<\/strong>, 65, was admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday when the clot turned up on a follow-up exam on the concussion, <strong>Clinton<\/strong> spokesman <strong>Phillipe Reines<\/strong> said. The clot is located in the vein in the space between the brain and the skull behind the right ear.
