{"id":18597,"date":"2012-12-13T15:03:40","date_gmt":"2012-12-13T20:03:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=18597"},"modified":"2012-12-13T15:03:40","modified_gmt":"2012-12-13T20:03:40","slug":"campus-police-kill-unarmed-graduate-student-with-superhuman-strength","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=18597","title":{"rendered":"Campus Police Kill Unarmed Graduate Student With \u2018Superhuman Strength\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saturday evening it took seven minutes and three Cal State San Bernardino police officers before their struggle with 38-year-old graduate student <strong>Bartholomew Williams <\/strong>was over, according to the Los Angeles Times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Williams<\/strong> was shot and killed by the San Bernadino police after officers responded to a complaint of disturbance.<\/p>\n<p>During the struggle with police, <strong>Williams<\/strong> grabbed an officer\u2019s baton after he showed no effect from the officers\u2019 hits to his body and used the officers\u2019 pepper spray against them, said a spokesman for the San Bernadino Police Department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Williams<\/strong> exhibited \u201dsuper-human-type strength\u201d during this whole ordeal, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the officers fired at <strong>Williams<\/strong> after he wrestled the third officer to the ground and began kicking him in the head and torso, said spokesman <strong>Lt. Paul Williams.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis became a prolonged, violent struggle,\u201d the spokesman said.<\/p>\n<p>The officers were responding to a dorm staff member complaint that <strong>Williams<\/strong> was allegedly behaving irrationally. Upon confronting <strong>Williams<\/strong> in the hallway upon their arrival, officers determined that he was a threat to himself and others.
