{"id":18392,"date":"2012-12-03T14:52:32","date_gmt":"2012-12-03T19:52:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=18392"},"modified":"2012-12-03T14:52:32","modified_gmt":"2012-12-03T19:52:32","slug":"family-and-friends-gather-to-say-good-bye-to-jordan-davis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=18392","title":{"rendered":"Family And Friends Gather To Say Good-Bye To Jordan Davis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Grieving family and friends came together at Trinity Chapel in Powder Springs, Georgia on Saturday afternoon to say their final farewells to 17-year-old <strong>Jordan Davis<\/strong>, who was gunned down by accused shooter <strong>Michael Dunn<\/strong>, 45, at a gas station in Jacksonville, Florida on November 23rd.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dunn<\/strong> claims that he felt threatened by the teen \u2014 who was sitting inside of an SUV with friends \u2014 and loud music coming from the vehicle, so he shot inside of it 8 or 9 times before driving away leaving <strong>Davis<\/strong> to die in a friend\u2019s arms.<\/p>\n<p>None of the teens had weapons.<\/p>\n<p>Upon hearing that <strong>Dunn<\/strong>, who has been charged with second degree murder and attempted murder, might use the \u201cStand Your Ground\u201d defense, <strong>Jordan\u2019s<\/strong> father, <strong>Ron Davis<\/strong>, voiced his disbelief.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you feel threatened, most people call 911. He never did that as far as I\u2019m told. He sprayed the car with bullets, knowing kids were in the car, drove to his hotel and had a good night\u2019s sleep.
