The description of <em>Bad Apples Can Be Good Fruit <\/em>does reveal striking similarities to <strong>Perry\u2019s<\/strong> film. <strong>Donald<\/strong> is seeking $225,000 in damages and also an injunction requiring Tyler Perry Studios to add a credit for her book to the opening and closing credits for <em>Good Deeds<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perry\u2019s <\/strong>film earned $35 million at the box office after its February release and starred <strong>Thandie Newton<\/strong>, <strong>Gabrielle Union<\/strong>, <strong>Phylicia Rashad <\/strong>and <strong>Beverly Johnson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tyler Perry is being sued for allegedly committing a bad deed.
