Come on bro, that\u2019s a female.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nickerson<\/strong> said police came to her friend\u2019s home Sunday morning after receiving a call about a disturbance, and they wanted to search the house. She told her friend she didn\u2019t have to let police into the residence and that\u2019s when the officer allegedly became aggressive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stephanie Nickerson<\/strong> after she says she was beaten by a Durham, North Carolina police officer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nickerson<\/strong> says the charge of assaulting an officer is not true.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can hear the officer. Even though he has his knee in my back and my face is in the ground, he says don\u2019t hit me, don\u2019t hit me. How am I hitting you when I\u2019m down on the ground, pinned, beat up?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nickerson<\/strong> has filed a complaint with the police department.
