That charge carries an additional five-year prison sentence.<\/p>\n<p>The motion filed last week includes a letter to U. S. District <strong>Judge James Moody<\/strong> from <strong>Banton\u2019s<\/strong> former attorney, <strong>David O. Markus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Markus<\/strong> represented <strong>Banton<\/strong> in the singer\u2019s two trials in Tampa in 2010 and 2011.
