{"id":17631,"date":"2012-10-25T15:08:18","date_gmt":"2012-10-25T19:08:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=17631"},"modified":"2012-10-25T15:08:18","modified_gmt":"2012-10-25T19:08:18","slug":"dna-gets-man-who-assaulted-woman-70-caught","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=17631","title":{"rendered":"DNA Gets Man Who Assaulted Woman, 70, Caught"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tampa Police have arrested a suspect in the attack of an elderly woman at a church on October 18<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>After analyzing DNA evidence, <strong>Demetreius Morris<\/strong>, 26, was charged with sexual battery, kidnapping, lewd and lascivious battery on an elderly person, and lewd and lascivious molestation of an elderly person.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police report, the victim, a 70-year-old woman, entered the Living Word Fellowship at 11:45 a. m. to get a key to a rental home nearby. As she walked to the rental house, <strong>Morris<\/strong> reportedly approached her and asked questions about the church.<\/p>\n<p>The victim walked back to the church, and <strong>Morris<\/strong> asked her if he could see the sanctuary, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The victim unlocked the door and allowed <strong>Morris<\/strong> into the building. After a short period of time, <strong>Morris <\/strong>allegedly put his hand over the victim\u2019s mouth, pushed her down onto a chair, and committed a sexual act.
