{"id":17566,"date":"2012-10-22T16:54:45","date_gmt":"2012-10-22T20:54:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=17566"},"modified":"2012-10-22T16:54:45","modified_gmt":"2012-10-22T20:54:45","slug":"man-gets-10-years-in-death-of-his-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=17566","title":{"rendered":"Man Gets 10 Years In Death Of His Children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, a judge sentenced a Valrico man to 10 years in prison his two children died in August 2009 from high body temperatures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Ervin, Jr., <\/strong>29, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated manslaughter in the deaths of 18-month-old <strong>Zionna Ervin<\/strong>, and 5-month-old <strong>Kaden Warren<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Medical Examiner determined the children died of environmental hyperthermia. Authorities said <strong>Zionna\u2019s<\/strong> body temperature was 109 degrees, and <strong>Kaden\u2019s<\/strong> was 105.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities reported that the children were lifeless when <strong>Ervin<\/strong> took them to a Brandon hospital.
