{"id":17280,"date":"2012-10-08T16:12:54","date_gmt":"2012-10-08T20:12:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=17280"},"modified":"2012-10-08T15:52:18","modified_gmt":"2012-10-08T19:52:18","slug":"south-carolina-inmate-punches-lawyer-in-the-face-after-being-sentenced-to-15-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=17280","title":{"rendered":"South Carolina Inmate Punches Lawyer In The Face After Being Sentenced To 15 Years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>YORK COUNTY, SC \u2013\u00a0 Inmate <strong>Lamarcus Williamson<\/strong> recently earned himself additional time to an already daunting prison sentence after assaulting his public defender in the courtroom. <strong>Williamson<\/strong>, 30, was so disenchanted with the 15 year bid he just received\u2014that after pleading guilty to robbery, assault and drug charges\u2014he surprised those in attendance by delivering the fade to his court appointed lawyer, <strong>Dan Hall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Next thing I knew, I felt a blow to my mouth and I hit the floor,&#8221; said Hall recollecting. Luckily for the lawyer, constables saw that <strong>Williamson<\/strong> was exhibiting volatile behavior, and were there to stop the criminal from doing further damage to <strong>Hall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>An additional six months were tacked on to <strong>Williamson&#8217;s<\/strong> sentence for contempt of court after the incident, and the criminal may also face assault charges.
