The survey also found that Ohioans believe Democrats had the better national convention.<\/p>\n<p>The 5-point lead in the latest PPP poll is an improvement for<strong> Obama<\/strong>, but still well within the margin of error &#8212; in its August poll of the state, the President held at 3-point lead over<strong> Romney<\/strong>, holding steady from July.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pres. Obama, Romney To Attend Clinton Global\u00a0Initiative<\/strong><br \/>\nNEW YORK \u2014 <strong>President Barack Obama<\/strong> and Republican <strong>Mitt Romney<\/strong> are set to address a major gathering of international philanthropists hosted by <strong>Bill Clinton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The former president announced Monday that<strong> Pres. Obama<\/strong> and <strong>Romney<\/strong> would participate in the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative on Sept. 25 in New York.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Romney<\/strong> is scheduled to lead a panel looking at ways to redesign the global food production system. <strong>Pres. Obama<\/strong> is set to address a session later that day looking at how banks and other financial institutions can help the world\u2019s poor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clinton<\/strong> supports <strong>Pres. Obama\u2019s<\/strong> re-election bid and gave a rousing speech at the Democratic convention last week that criticized <strong>Romney.<\/strong> The former president said he was \u201cgrateful\u201d that both <strong>Romney<\/strong> and<strong> Pres.
