{"id":16256,"date":"2012-08-20T15:53:20","date_gmt":"2012-08-20T19:53:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=16256"},"modified":"2012-08-20T15:53:20","modified_gmt":"2012-08-20T19:53:20","slug":"suspects-in-crime-spree-allegedly-wanted-to-purify-and-preserve-white-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=16256","title":{"rendered":"Suspects In Crime Spree Allegedly Wanted To \u2018Purify\u2019 And \u2018Preserve\u2019 White Race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PORTLAND, Ore.\u00a0 \u2014 A young couple accused of killing four people in a multistate crime spree last fall have been indicted of federal racketeering charges alleging the rampage was part of a campaign to \u201cpurify\u201d and \u201cpreserve\u201d the white race, the U.S. Attorney for Oregon, said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>A federal grand jury handed up the indictment Thursday against <strong>David \u201cJoey\u201d Pedersen<\/strong>, 32, and <strong>Holly Ann Grigsby<\/strong>, 25, prosecutor <strong>Amanda Marshall<\/strong> said in a news release. <strong>Grigsby<\/strong> will be arraigned Monday in Seattle. <strong>Pedersen\u2019s<\/strong> arraignment in Portland hasn\u2019t been scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>They are charged in the killing, kidnapping and robbery of four people last fall: <strong>Pedersen\u2019s<\/strong> father, <strong>David \u201cRed\u201d Pedersen<\/strong>, and stepmother,<strong> Leslie \u201cDeeDee\u201d Pedersen<\/strong>, on Sept. 26 in Everett, Wash.; <strong>Cody Myers<\/strong>, a 19-year-old from Oregon on Oct. 1; and <strong>Reginald Clark<\/strong>, 53, of Eureka, Calif., on Oct. 3.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clark<\/strong> was black and <strong>Grigsby<\/strong> allegedly told investigators that <strong>Myers<\/strong>, a Christian, was killed because his name sounded Jewish.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-page indictment charges that <strong>Pedersen<\/strong> and <strong>Grigsby<\/strong> were members of a criminal enterprise whose aim was to promote a white supremacist movement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PORTLAND, Ore.\u00a0 \u2014 A young couple accused of killing four people in a multistate crime spree last fall have been indicted of federal racketeering charges alleging the rampage was part of a campaign to \u201cpurify\u201d and \u201cpreserve\u201d the white race, the U.S. Attorney for Oregon, said Friday.
