{"id":15818,"date":"2012-07-23T16:34:12","date_gmt":"2012-07-23T20:34:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=15818"},"modified":"2012-07-23T16:34:36","modified_gmt":"2012-07-23T20:34:36","slug":"well-known-couple-die-1-day-apart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flsentinel.com\/?p=15818","title":{"rendered":"Well- Known Couple Die 1 Day Apart"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mr.<\/strong> and <strong>Mrs. John (Grace) Clark<\/strong> passed away Sunday and Monday, less than 24 hours apart.<\/p>\n<p>According to their son, <strong>Fred Hearns<\/strong>, <strong>Mr. Clark<\/strong> passed away Sunday afternoon a little more than an hour after visiting his wife at Tampa General Hospital.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr. Clark<\/strong> was in an assisted living facility, <strong>Hearns<\/strong> stated. \u201cHe had not spoken in over 2 months. I picked him up Sunday, took him to her hospital bed, put their hands together, and said, \u2018<strong>John<\/strong>, say whatever you want to say to mom. He said over and over, \u2018I love you <strong>Grace\u2019<\/strong>,\u201d <strong>Hearns<\/strong> explained.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mrs. Clark<\/strong> joined a group of AME\u2019s a few weeks ago for the convention in Nashville. While there, she started complaining about not feeling well and even decided not to go on one of the planned tours.<\/p>\n<p>After returning to Tampa, she was admitted to the hospital after having a heart attack. Last Thursday (7-19), she suffered a stroke and died about noon on Monday (7-23).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr.<\/strong> and <strong>Mrs. Clark<\/strong> were members of Allen Temple AME Church.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services for both are incomplete at this time.
